I'm guessing Sweetwater must have won a flip to choose neutral site. But I know stadium availability was probably an issue.

But we all saw how Greenwood jumped up and surprised Monahans, and came from behind to do it. So I don’t think the Rangers will be the pushover some may think they'll be.

I doubt I'll be able to make this one, so be sure to root especially load for me.

That is correct....Sweetwater won 44-21 and then I think they beat Monahans in the Region Final......and then lost to Tatum in the semi's at Texas Stadium.

Seriously, we got a LOT further than I thought we would this year....we were co-district champions, made the playoffs and won the first playoffgame, better than we did last year.

If it ends Thursday, I will be satisfied with our season! I have NEVER cried over a game, not even the State game in 2002!:D

I'm actually glad that IF we win, we will probably be playing LH rather than Vernon. Not that we have any better chance of beating LH, but it's dang sure been impossible for us to beat Vernon the last few meetings.
But if we both happen to lose, the good ol Mustang Bowl would be a great meeing place for Vernon vs. Greenwood. And this isnt nearly as impossible as some may think. These are both very well coached football teams.

It is COLUMBIA blue NOT baby blue.....BIG difference.

And.....we haven't worn COLUMBIA blue uniforms in YEARS....they are either white with predominately NAVY blue and some COLUMBIA blue accent....OR NAVY blue with COLUMBIA blue accent.
