Columbus takes first game 25-18. Questionable call on 17-18 definitely changed the first game.

Not with Bellville? After Bellville beat Sinton in 3, you said Sinton came out flat. Maybe Bellville was just the better team?

Sinton was very 1-dimensional to me. Bellville shut down Coco and that was the end of Sinton. I think La Grange or even Sealy could have given them a game.

WHAT A MATCH!!!!

Columbus came out on fire at the start. So hot I think they wore themselves out in sets 1 and 2 and during the third game, that's what Bellville was able to take advantage of. The Brahmanettes were not going to go down without a fight and once the momentum shifted and the outcome started to become doubtful for the Cards, it was the opening Bellville needed. Great credit to Bellville for never giving up and to both teams for a match to remember for a long time!

I thought and posted that Columbus would go very deep in the playoffs and Bellville would likely have to go back through them. Next year I think Columbus will be the favorite in Region 4. They do not lose much to graduation and will have an experience to build on. Hats off to a great season to the Lady Cardinals!
