Your boy playing 7th grade basketball? I see where the middle school plays each other twice this year including the opener on Monday here in Brownwood.

Thanks to his momma's genes he has no jumping ability.

But, He is wanting to be a trainer/manager for the basketball

If you make some of the 7th grade teams let me know, I will treat you to a soda or something. Looks like we will be going to the games. Lots more travel but it is worth it.

The boy I go watch is my ex-wifes son, you remember her.. you know the whole 2 1/2 minute thing Anyways.... He is my daughters 1/2 brother. His dad is in Iraq again so I watch out for him. His mom works out or town some and when she does, he stays with me. He came home tonight excited about his team with his schedule in hand. He was real excited about the road trips to Sweetwater and Snyder (I think beacuse he gets out of a good bit of school on those trips)

Well, I thought about telling you one time when a "poster" had
me ready to get "straight midevil on his ass" in one of my 7th
grade B team threads. But, I realized he wasn't worth the typing.

Yes, I know I referenced an 90's catch phrase by the way.:D

Dude, you chose this battle...

I'm not a coward I fight my battles as they come to me.

It's funny though that you try to draw Dahop and Ranger Mom
into your battles the last couple weeks.

You might want to find other posters to take your side:doh:

For those of you that don't know, I have an autistic 13 year old
son. He is my ex-wife's son. But, is the coolest kid on the
planet. I've been in his life for the last 8 years. Guess what
his opinion is of me..."I'm the the coolest Dad on the planet".:D

He has mild seizures...sometimes two in one day.

Sometimes two in six months.

This prevents him from actually playing contact sports.

He was a trainer/manager for the 7th grade B team the entire
year.

His aspirations are to do the same for the basketball team...

I ran into Coach Huskerson when we were getting our hair cut
at the barber shop and....if my son can pass a physical...he
wants him to run track....

Did I mention that my son and I's favorite movie is Forrest Gump.:D

But, don't call him an idiot.

Now that is impressive! I give you all the props in the world. It would have been easy for you to walk away from that situation and take the easy road.

Way to be a real stand up guy Red!!

And you never so much as acknowledged my apology after I found out you had a kid involved with the team. Wait, I think you did by taking a shot at my mom. Such a stand up guy...

You're missing the point. I started threads praising 12 and 13
year old kids. You did nothing but talk about their accomplishments
being irrelevant. I shouldn't have even had to mention I had
one involved. That's why I consider your apology meaningless.
