Sinton (who won State last year and should be very good this year) has some interesting non-district games coming up. On Feb. 21 at the Poteet tournament they will be playing Pleasanton at a time and place to be announced later. Pleasanton was a good 4A baseball team last year and got into the playoffs.
A real great matchup will be on February 25 against Calallen in Calallen at a time to be annunced. Calallen was State runner up in 4A last year. They might also meet again in the Calallen Tournament sometime on March 6-8.
Another interesting game will be at the Corpus Christi ISD tournament on Friday at 5:30 P.M. will be Sinton vs Austin Bowie. Austin Bowie was the state runner up last year in 5A baseball.
