Has your team played anyone similar to your Rd1 playoff opponent? Is it someone you have played a lot in the playoffs in the past? Back in 93' when the Bulls made the playoffs for the first time after about 100 years, one of the biggest advantages they had was running a wide-open spread offense that most teams had never seen. Most defensive co-ords didn't know how to deal with it.

We played Van Alstyne. I think they are similar to well Gainesville (Sorry Keith, i was just sayin'). :D

I think for Llano, Glen Rose is somewhat similar to Bandera. Neither is particularly noted for their defense, but both can light up the scoreboard with the passing game.

I don't think so, based on this, but I could be wrong.

Yes... we refused to drop a game to BYE earlier this year... and now they are cocky and looking for more. We shall take them again!

Im not sure Ive ever SEEN a HS team like the one we play in the first round. The closest Ive ever seen were the 1988 Carter Cowboys or the 1986 Houston Yates Lions.

Who are ya'll playing?

Rio Hondo is playing Ingleside.

Last week we played La Feria, which judging by the stats and videos I have seen, play exactly like Ingleside . . .

We've already played Bellville once this year.

I hate to 1 up bobcat1 Keith, but I think Van Alstyne may be a smooch better than Gainesville. Maybe Gainesville can put it together next year. They have the potential.

Yep, we played our first round opponent. Although I don't expect Snyder to route Lubbock Cooper like they did earlier in the season, I do expect to them to win. Snyder score 53 points against cooper with only 285 yards of offense. It was a sloppy game from cooper who continually turned over the ball on their side of the field. I don't expect that this time.

I think Diboll compares pretty favorably with Daingerfield. They have good athletes on both sides of the ball and can be very explosive at times.

Let's just hope the outcome is the same for the Buckeyes!:D
