Edcouch-Elsa football meeting postponed
Local playoff pairings still up in air

The District 32-4A meeting to determine the playoff eligibility of Edcouch-Elsa was postponed Monday, due to an injunction filed by Edcouch-Elsa.
Edcouch-Elsa will go in front of the UIL's Executive Board at 9 a.m. Thursday in Austin, according to UIL spokesperson Kim Rogers.
Edcouch-Elsa is being accused of playing an ineligible player and could be forced to forfeit all of its wins, which would knock it out of the playoffs.
Tuloso-Midway is supposed to play Edcouch-Elsa on Friday in the first round of the playoffs. However, if Edcouch-Elsa is ruled out of the playoffs, that would change T-M's opponent. Due to the shuffling that would occur in District 32-4A, it also would change playoff opponents for Alice, Calallen and Flour Bluff.
