There are going to be some messed up fields because of all the rain!

I know we're not. The field at Ricebird Stadium is turf and I was told a million was spent on the stadium over this past summer. The rain will not be a factor for the field here.

By Thursday night the grass fields will be dry. All fields should be grass.

It's only Tuesday. I think most of the state (except the eastern edge and Gulf coast, perhaps) has been dry enough that the ground will rapidly soak up whatever Mother Nature throws at us this morning.

I don't know of anybody around here in 3A and up who's playing on grass. I know Wolfe City and Muenster are playing a 1A game at Whitesboro, which is grass.

Yeah but the rain was early in the week. And it was real dry in Frisco Kep. It already looks like it is drying up. I think the fields in dfw especially to the west are going to be good. At least it won't feel like hitting concrete.

Playoff game at Whitesboro's stadium? The UIL must not like Wolfe City or Muenster. Celina's stadium is nicer and is more in the middle than Whitesboro. But then again, Whitesboro does have a parking lot.

we all must remember that the rain will effect more than just game day. the rain will also effect many practices for many teams this weak in preparation for their playoff game this week

we have a field house and turf between the two we practice. I cannot wait however cause we are going to build a new one to go up by the new school. It oughta be nice.
