I know that if they were actually good they should have made it in, but which teams had tough districts and could have made the playoffs and done well if the ball bounced their way.

My votes are:

Brownwood, Wimberely, LaGrange and Cameron Yoe.

I believe you have nailed four pretty good teams that would have definitely made the playoffs in another district.

That's a pretty good list.

From District 30AAA West Oso "The Howling Bear" of course. Also Mathis and Orange Grove. And if Aransas Pass had more backup maybe them too.

Honestly I would add Smithville to that list, in most other districts I am sure they could have made the post season. I also think La Grange is the best team on that list. Guess you could call me a D25 homer.

Pretty stiff competition with just these four teams. If these four teams were all in five team district they could easily say that it's one of the toughest in the state.:D

Except for district 9 of course which was annointed today by some closet fans who showed back up after a long quiet time:) ;) .

I think I'd throw Columbus in there.

I don't think you would want Brownwood or Graham on a neutral field right now.

Just curious but in the past 5 years what is Wylie's record against teams that are currently in District 9?

Graham beat Brownwood, and they are staying home too. So, I would have to add them to that list.

Are you trying to pump up and sell us on 2-8, 0-5 Gainsville who use to be a powerhouse:D but the past three years have been terrible.

I guess 0-2 against Gainseville because they are the only ones Wylie's played and both times it was either the semi' or quater finals. Other than that Wylie hasn't played anyone else.

I'm not trying to sell you anything about Gainesville, Keith might want to. It was just a simple question.

How about LE? They beat both Paris and North Lamar but are sitting home.
