The article and photo below is on wikipedia and is one of the most famous WW2 photos taken in Times Square on V-J Day. It was after we had won the war and people were celebrating. This is worth looking at because tomorrow is Veterans' Day. The sailor and nurse in the picture have never been completely positively identified but several people claim to have been the ones in the photograph. Too bad the photographer didn't get their names. Oh well.
