Playoff Question???

can someone please tell me how the playoff system works. i see that some people get a first round bye, we had that not to long ago. I just was wondering how that works. GO WYLIE!!!!!!!!

Their are a few districts that do not have any teams, you can thank UIL for that, 3A has the fewest amount of schools of any classification I believe. I guess it just is what it is.

Every region has one district that is a bye district. The UIL
decided to go that route to get rid of the four and five team
districts in 3A. The travel is a little more worse for the teams on
the fringes of their districts. But, we'll see how it plays out.
