Greetings again! FYI, My birthday is Friday and I'm picking up hints from my friends here that I will most likely be completely incapacitated Friday evening so it is looking more and more unlikely that I will have any chance of doing the scoreboard this weekend.

Glad you checked in. Don't worry about the score board, we can run a thread like we used to. Enjoy your time there. Take some pics to share with us.

Ok Mr. Wiseguy... :D :D

Here's the pics I have from yesterday when we visted one of the Official World Heritage Sites (The Giant's Causeway) up at the northern most tip of Northern Ireland... it's also where the cover of the Led Zeppelin album "Houses of the Holy" was shot.

Hey, I've been there! I went to Cork the first time, then to Dublin for a weekend this past February. Ireland is a great place to visit. A little expensive, but the dollar is a little stronger now, so it shouldn't be too bad. Dublin is a great place, with pubs all over. Didn't really eat out, all we did was drink (and drink, and drink).

Have a great time! I know I did!!

We were in Dublin in August for a week. Went to a Pub for some Guinness and some pub grub. They had a buffet and I ordered turkey and dressing. The hostess asked if I wanted everything on it, and I said sure. (Not really sure what everything was.) It turned out that everything was a serving of greens and four (4) different styles of potato, raosted, fried, mashed and chipped. It was all covered with a dark gravy. Four servings of potatos! It was good and we had a great time in Dublin.

While you're there, can you at least find a place that serves sausage gravy and biscuits with hash browns for breakfast? I betcha can't!:D

WEAK :D

I thought it was funny that the first pick the Irishman posts is
that of a bar. Does anyone else see the humor in that?:D

Enjoy yourself WOS87 and post more pics when you have time.:)

If you end up not partying too much, what game are you going to listen to over the internet???

How much is a plate of food over there in the average place? How much for a pint of beer in a bar?

Anyway, Happy Birthday and I'll excuse you from your Friday night win thread.

Spent a week there last August. Dublin is definitely a great place.

And have a happy birthday. It will be one you remember starting but not finishing!

Have you found any place that serves sausage gravy and biscuits with hash browns yet? I'll need to know for when I make the trip.

Oh, well, Happy Birthday to ya! Hope you have the best ever!
