Big 12 Women's College Soccer Tournament Updates

The games are in San Antonio. The final winner will get an automatic invite to the playoffs with several losers no doubt being invited as in the past.
There are four games today and the four winners will meet in semis games on Friday with the final two playing on Sunday.
Earlier Colorado beat Nebraska 1 - 0.
With about 19 minutes left Missouri was ahead of Texas 2 - 1. :(

Later today it will be Texas Tech vs Oklahoma State followed by Texas A&M vs Kansas.

Texas is still behind Missouri 2 - 1 with 10 minutes to play. Come on Lady Horns! Let's get some goals and win it!

About 7 minutes left. Missouri just got another goal and leads 3 - 1. It is starting to look bad for the Lady Horns. :(

Texas loses 3 - 1 and are eliminated from the tournament after one game. They still might get an at large invitation to the playoffs but they won't get a good seed and have no momemtum.
This has been a disappointing season for UT soccer because they had a great senior class coming back plus some good underclassmen and a great recruting class. They had more backups than ever. But they just didn't acheive what they should have especially after the great success last year winning the Big 12 Tournament and doing very well in the playoffs.

Let's hope Texas Tech and the Lady Aggies can do better.

Last year we had the Cat Osterman of soccer in Kelly Wilson. She was a scoring maching but didn't quite have the defense to back her up. This year we had a great defense but couldn't get it done in offense. :(

More bad news. Texas Tech was beat by Oklahoma State 3 - 0 which was not really a surprise. The shocker is that No. 2 seed Texas A&M was upset by No. 7 seed Kansas 4 - 2.

Bad news indeed. :(

All three Texas teams got beat yesterday. :(
