Finshed the season 9-0 after beating Wylie 26-6 tonight.

Yes the B team finally got scored on but it wasn't their defense.
Wylie intercepted the ball and ran it back about 20 yards for the
only score on the Colts all year.

Congratulations to my son and the rest of the future Mustangs
on a season well done.

Congrats to your son. We finished our season last night with win and a tie over our crosstown rival. Was nice to get a win, and even more nice to see football season end at the junior high level.

Congratulations. I've got to be honest it was a thrill. But, I'm
glad I don't have to get up at 5:30 A.M to take him to practice
anymore.

There has been lots of comments on the first thread about the relevance of the 7th grade B team. The bottom line to me----- I'll bet almost all of those kids on that team had a blast and more importantly--- will want to play again next year.

Now we all no why Graham is struggling right now. Their players are call "kiddos". Around here once they are old enough to play real football we start calling them young men:D .

Red - Congrats to those 7th grade young men for their great season:clap: .

RWB - Best wishes to your "kiddos" and I hope they stay safe:D .

Good grief.......... I think it is still okay to call a 7th grader a 'kiddo'. And of course I was referring to the SWEETWATER MUSTANGS, not the STEERS. I would never refer to our studs as 'kiddos'.

 You know..... I'm showing great restraint right now by not unloading on you.:D But, since I kind of see you now as a little mouse sticking his head out of the hole to see if there is any danger, I won't say anything. Just keep quiet and hope for a miracle. And if it happens, then you might can crawl all the way out of your hole.:D
