Wylie's 1st round playoff game

will be the big school out of district 1. Which, as of right now could be any one of 4 different schools. Craziest scenario you have ever heard. It makes for some interesting scouting trips for our Jr. High coaches/scouts Friday night.:vrycnfsd: :crazy1:

Well, we are headed to Plainview next Friday. Speaking of

Wylie's gonna play Lubbock Estacado unless something crazy happens. I'd imagine the home and home flip could be a player? Sweetwater would be a good neutral site, but with Abilene Wylie playing there in Week 10 I'd imagine they wouldn't want to play there

Snyder played at Shotwell in the quarter's and semi's in back to
back weeks. Considering how lopsided the score will probably
be, I don't see Wylie having a problem with the short trip two weeks in a row.

One of my all time favorite Wylie playoff games was at Snyder in 1994. We played Slaton in the first round and they had not had a point scored on them all year. Their TB was Oscar Solis who went on and played DB at TT. We kicked a 40 yd FG with no time on the clock to win it. Went on and got beat in the semi's by Atlanta. That was Wylie's first run in the playoffs. We didn't make the playoffs the year before.:)

I said ONE of my favorites. The Decatur 14-13 in 04 would have to be my all-time favorite, and the Decatur game in 06 would be right up there also (the one with the on-side kick and FG). :)

Yep, as a matter of fact that drive from Abilene to Waco and back has been a very pleasant one for Wylie fans the past few years.:)

It will most likely be Estacado vs Wylie..Cooper vs Snyder and Dalhart vs Sweetwater, UNLESS...Perryton beats Dalhart by 3, then Estacado is out and Cooper goes big school, then Perryton will get Snyder and we are still stuck with Sweetwater...if Dalhart loses by 9 then Dalhart is out of the Playoffs, and then Estacado will play Wylie and Perryton will take Dalharts spot vs Sweetwater

Wow!! Was that a mouthful or what!! It is great to see so many districts go down to the wire.....That could be a direct result of smaller districts....and good competition as well.

Good luck this Friday.....and on a personal note...it would be cool to play a team you have never seen before. I am not taking the time to look it up...I just know Dalhart vs. Sweetwater hasn't happend in a Long time ..if ever!
