before they have all the results?? is this just TV stations jumping the gun to try to be the first ones to call states?

I saw earlier that DC had 0% reporting and was called for Obama.


That kinda makes no sense.

They just called Utah and Iowa with 0% in

Its done by exit polls. The 3 major networks hire one company to conduct exit polls as people leave the places where they vote. That information is then provided at the same time to all 3 networks. They can be very unreliable as the were in 2000 and 2004.:(
