Another tough game for the Mustangs as the Cotton Pickers travel to Mustang land. Coach H really needs to pull out all of the stops as Ingleside surely does not want to end their 4 years of consecutive playoff appearances. Robstown is riding off a huge victory after thumping Falfurrias. Ingleside is coming off a tough loss to Sinton. I believe that the Mustangs will bounce back and be ready for Robstown this Friday.

This will be a good test for the Mustangs as Robstown resembles Rio Hondo a little(formation wise). Ingleside should win, but Robstown is gaining confidence each week and a win against Ingleside will have them rolling into the playoffs.

The Mustangs will have to play MUCH better defensively against Robstown than they did against us.


Ingleside needs this more than Robstown and they've been in "big" game situations before, so as much as it pains me, I think Ingleside finds a way to win!


okay, not really...i think Robstown will win by at least 10. :devil:

It should be a close game but I think Ingleside will win since they have the home field advantage.

It's not gonna be easy but the Mustangs have what it takes to beat Robstown. Good luck on Friday and take care of the those nasty Pickers.

GP, if it does open up, will have more than their fair share of qualified applicants for the job. THe head coach from Stang land may have a shot, but he would have to beat out a lot of more qualified apps in my opinion.

Sometimes in the coaching profession that does happen. But, I think GP being such a high profile football program, they would at least get a state wide pool of apps to consider. Could be dead wrong.

Maybe you need to worry about the attitudes of the players in AP. At least the Mustangs have a shot at going to the playoffs.:D

there is no need to worry about attitude in AP, it is horrible and will probably be that way for a while.

I didn't say they did. I was just pointing out the fact that many Ingleside fans and the Ingleside players have a "can do" attitude despite what some people may think.

Sounded like a great game. Ingleside "got a hand on" the xp, per Ingleside Fan's text.

Stay over the weekend. Saturday maybe get some fishing in and go hear the Pelican West Band Saturday night at their place at South Padre Island, Texas located just south of the Radisson Hotel.
