So what are you guys looking at playoff wise, div 1 or 2? Was wondering if Gilmer and La Vega might hook up in the 2nd round.

La Vega is a lock for dI, and also of note, with West beating Gatesville last night that put China Spring DI as well. If they can both get that far that would be another matchup I would like to see.

The only way China Spring and La Vega will meet is if they both go to the State Championship game.

La Vega would have to go through Navasota and Cuero both.

China Spring would have to go through Abilene Wylie.

That would put La Vega on track for a rematch of their only 2 losses in 2 years.

With Robinson beating Lorena last night that brings Robinson into the mix. If Robinson beats Connally this Friday night that puts Robinson into the playoffs as DI rep and puts LaVega into DII.

Holy cow, I did not see that, you are right. Man I would love a shot at La Vega for CS.

Odds are good Robinson will make it consider their opponent and the fact that Lorena is playing Robinson.

I've been preparing to play LaVega in round 2 this entire season. I hope we get the opportunity to meet.
Few match-ups would have the number of athletes on the field that game would!

2/WOS would face Gilmer in round 3.

So... we would have Coldsprings, Rockdale then Gilmer. They would have Diboll, WLV then us. No disrespect to anyone, but I have to say they have a little tougher row to hoe.

We also have some tough games. I truly feel Coldsprings is better than people give them credit for. I know they have the full attention of the WOS coaching staff. We will not be ambushed. I don't know anything about Rockdale.

Anyway, I sure would love for WOS to meet up with Gilmer... speed on speed, we would match up well against one another. WOS strength is defense and Gilmers is offense, one of them would have to give.

If LaVega goes D2 which is possible now Glimer and LaVega would meet in round 2. WO-S would have the winner in round 3 if we make it to round 3.

Bridgeport might surprise you. They are very good on both sides of the ball.

Yes... I clearly understand that. That's what I said, I also posted our probable opponents to get to round 3 should we be that fortunate.

Is the Parr kid playing again for WLV?

I think the Texas Department of Criminal Justice is recruiting him. I do not think he is back.
