Has anyone seen them play this year? How do they look?

In a word, solid.

The defense has grown leaps and bounds over a short year ago. Proof holding UMHB to just 20 points.
Offensive continues to churn out yards and points in impressive fashion.

Side note from UMHB game, HSU scored three touchdowns, but missed two extra point kicks and had a failed two point conversion. Their only loss 20-18.

Had a couple of close wins and a few blow-out wins.

This team is strong and barring a hiccough, should be invited to the playoffs and if they can get past the probable first round game with UMHB will be a force to be dealt with.

Great tradition, coaching and college. My step son played there for three years. I was very impressed with Hardin-Simmons.

my nephew plays for them , but he's on the JV team. right now I think they're 7-1.at one point I think they was ranked 15th.they have a great passing attack , but doesn't run the ball that well.They're IMO like Texas Tech , the will kill you threw the air and run enough to keep you off balance.their defense has really improve since last year.I hope they get a chance to get in the playoffs.
