I think with Sweetwater's fumble habbit as of late, Bwood is bound to stop them eventually. If they stay with the stangs till then maybe they'll take a lead.

But I'm still rootin for the Stangs.

A nice sustained drive now pays dividends in the 4th. JMO.

A quick score, will let Brownwood keep SW defense on the field in its next posession or even get into a shoot out.

Score quick, score slow...points are points. Take them however you can. I still think a passing attack is prone to more mistakes, so I think an offensive shootout favors Sweetwater.

Yes I was very good at math in school.

The thing is bwood hasnt stopped swater hardly at all. 2 would have had swater up by 10, which i like alot better than 9. But yes I see what your saying. I still would have been tempted to go for two.

If this game holds and Brownwood beats Snyder next week, there will be a three-way tie for third between Brownwood, Graham, and Snyder, all at 2-3. I don't know how the tie-breaker works, but I think Brownwood still has a change. If Breck beats Graham and Bwood wins, then Bwood is in.

Yea, I think thats exactly what it was. Snyder's Game with Wylie was close too.

I look for another close one next week between Sweetwater and Wylie.

Hopefully Snyder can hold back Brownwood and Clinch the Playoffs.

Good Job Sweetwater I did not think yall would do it. I picked the Wood but only because of the way stangs have played lately looks like those kids stepped it up a big notch this week. What a great year this has been for Sweetwater. I predicted 7-3 for the mustangs, and even I thought that would be a great season. Most people had Sweetwater as the 4th place team in this district. Now they are playing for a possible 9-1 season and district championship.

I wonder now what the Jackson "haters" are saying. You don't win these kind of games by not knowing what you are doing. Jackson must have these kids believing in themselves and working their tails off, cause they have beat some pretty good teams.

theyre a pretty good team this year this senior class has always been good, but joackson can prepare for games but when the other team starts stopping it thats when he makes stupid decisions and doesn't change his gameplan, hes a great coach and an even greater person, i just question his decision making when he gets in a game. I'm not trying to talk him down or anything, it jsut seems like that has been the case since hes been at sweetwater, but he is starting to get better

let me explain my post to U. wangster mentioned that the TIGERS don't have a defense. The same defense that held the ponies to 130 total yards. They beat us, hats off to them......now go cook something, let the men talk..........

The kids are what breaks my heart!! I felt really bad for the Lamesa boys last night....they played hard the ENTIRE game.

The Brownwood team IS good, and in any other district would have probably sailed through unscathed.

You got that right!

This is definately one of the most powerful Districts in the State!
I won't call anybody in it a powerhouse, but Every team in it can darn sure make things happen. I think Breckenridge and Graham are good enough to have won our old district, and if the ball bounced a different way a few times, they'd be at the top of this one.

I guess it was Crocket when he suggested that I wasn't a true fan. At least, that's the way I took what he said.

I know alot of Snyder poster's think its all about them but I was adressing Brownwood's lack of defense.

That said, Snyder is going to need more "D" next week than it displayed this week.

Just my onion.
