Word is circulating that Bridge City has cancelled school for the rest of the week. Any word about schools or games in the area?

Word is circulating that Bridge City has cancelled school for the rest of the week. Any word about schools or games in the area?as of 10PM tonight, BC still has school tomorrow, they are waiting for Orange County to make their move, as is all public schools in Orange county. Currently, all schools in OC have school.. Chances are, if we get a direct hit, there will not be any game Friday, but would have to make it up sometime later in the season. probably on a Saturday after a Friday game, pending UIL approval. Jefferson County will have an evacuation starting at 6AM tomorrow, but the public hasnt been informed yet. That is why pretty much ALL Jefferson County schools are closed tomorrow.. I know some inside sources working for Jeff. Co. Emergency Management. but of course, things may change.

Thanks. It looks like only a few schools in the area have not cancelled classes according to the Channel 6 News Websit.

School in BC is cancelled for Friday, and the Orangefield/Bridge City game will be played Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. at Bridge City. wink
