Is 8-0 and still hasn't allowed a score.

They beat Brownwood 6-0.

Rocket had joked earlier that we had one player on the team that
no one could tackle. For the first time all year, I saw that player
on a team. It was Brownwoood's 7th grade A team QB/FS. I
have no idea what his name is. But, he looked like he was two
years more developed than anyone else on the field. My guess
is that this is what Freeman and Pachall looked like at that age.
Does any one know this kids lastname? There was 6-8 people
there with Barnum on the back of their shirts. Is that his family?

Yeah, I can see that. Hopefully ya'll will be in Region III when he
makes varsity.:D

By the way....Brownwood's A team beat us 16-8. That was due to...

1. Not being able to bring down #10(QB)

and

2. Not being able to stop #10 from throwing forty yard bombs
to #84(WR).

Sweetwater's "B" teams are always really good, their "A" team generally gets beat alot more.

The way they did it when I was there was 1st string started on "A", second started on "B" third string was backup on "B" and fourth string was backup on "A".

It allowed alot of good players more playing time at an early age, alot of Sweetwater "B" team players go on to do very well in high school.

I don't know if they still do it this way or not.

Yeah, I heard about him. I heard some Early coaches talking about him. They were definitely excited. Talking about him starting as a Freshman maybe. Not a done deal though, because the Bangs coaches have some interest also. Keep us informed.;)

Is the Sweetwater A team better if not maybe this B team should start playing some A teams.

I have this weird rage when I think of the Bangs Dragons- I wonder where that comes from? Maybe I should see my therapist about that......

I have a 7th grade boy (kinda) anyways, he is "C" team QB. I have watched his games and he does fine. I finally got to make an early morning practice and saw the kid you are talking about practicing across the field. Mine came home that afternoon and I started teaching him how to play reciever!

I would rather have Wylie's 7th grade fullback linebacker than Brownwoods 7th grade quarterback, He had one pretty good run but that was it against us as we defeated them 22-6. I think Sweetwaers B will get a good test tonight

And it is only because my 'bangs' were so high in 1988 that my friend shut them in the card door and I had to have reconstructive surgery before it was all done with. I am really sensitive about it and Bogey knows it------ :(
 he (Bogey) is really wanting some other type of 'Bangs' story, but I'm not putting it out there:devil:

What Bangs?

P.S. Like I was saying; if Breck put their stud on your QB, they will stop Graham's passing attack and without the passing attack, I don't believe Graham can beat Breck.

;)
