Just read on www.houstonchronicle.com (http://www.houstonchronicle.com) that a federal appeals court in (where else?) San Francisco has just ruled the Pledge of Allegiance unconstitutional because of the words "under God". From the land of fruits and nuts.

Not surprising, unfortunately!! I'm from Greenwood and our Baptist Church is right next to our football field. On Friday nights, the sports announcer would call for a moment of silence, and a prayer would come over a PA system from the roof of the church. As far as I know there is nothing that anyone can do about that. The first time they broadcasted a prayer over the PA, it almost brought the house down. I believe we were playing Stanton that night, and it took a good 2 or 3 minutes for the applause to die down. I thought that was pretty neat!!
