Joe Buck is an idiot and could only hope to be a 4th of what his dad was. Go Rays!

i agree, he actually thought that mlb might call the game in the 6th if the rays wouldve been behind....this isnt the regular season joe, they dont call world series games, they suspend them.....he is clueless about baseball and it shows almost every time he calls a game....

actually, there's no rule stating that whatsoever, and based upon the rules that are in place, the game WOULD have been called if it were a 2-1 except that the commissioner made a ruling otherwise. You're talking as if it's been common knowledge and practice, but there had been no mention of suspending a game in which a team had a lead.

The World Series won't resume until Wednesday night at the earliest.

With rain still falling in Philadelphia, Major League Baseball decided not to attempt to complete Game 5 on Tuesday night.

The game, played in increasingly heavy rain, was suspended Monday following a 30-minute delay with the Philadelphia Phillies and Tampa Bay Rays tied 2-2 after 5 innings. It was the first time a World Series game wasn't played to completion on the same day.

This suspended game could turn out to be in Philadelphia's favor. If for some reason the game is played out and TB wins, Phillies #1 pitcher, Hammel, can come back to start game 7 with plenty of rest.

He's just not very insightful, he is more worried about getting tv add in then actually calling the game. If it wasn't for his dad he would never have that gig. Bill Brown runs circles around Joe.

Joe Buck is horrendous. It's been nice not having to hear him do any football games the last few weeks. He's just horrific. If not for his father (RIP), he wouldn't have a job.

I tried listening to the online feed of the Phillies' own broadcast station so I coule mute Buck and McCarver. Unfortunately, there was about a 30 second differential between what was on TV and what was on the audio webcast.

Game resumed, Phily picks up 1 to go ahead in the bottom of the 6th. Baldelli hits HR tied game at 3, Rays still batting.

I was referencing the city in general, not the team.

Congrats to the Phillies.

Your city still sucks.
