Liberty Hill is currently in a 3-way tie for 11th in regards to longest consecutive game winning streaks in Texas High School football history... with a win in their final regular season game against Llano next week they can extend their streak to 34 consecutive wins, thus tying them for 10th on the all-time list.

1. 68 - Celina, 1998-2002
2(t). 49 - Abilene, 1954-57
2(t). 49 - Southlake Carroll, 2004-2007
4. 44 - Cuero, 1973-75
5. 41 - Hull-Daisetta, 1935-39
6. 39 - Lufkin Dunbar, 1966-68
7(t) 35 - Austin Reagan, 1967-69
7(t) 35 - Stamford, 1954-57
7(t) 35 - Sealy, 1994-96
10. 34 - Pflugerville*, 1960-62 (counting only 11-man games)
11(t) 33 - Liberty Hill, 2006-present (as of 10/27/08)
11(t) 33 - Royse City, 1955-58
11(t) 33 - Valley Mills, 1950-52
14(t) 32 - Katy, 1997-99 (includes 2 wins that were forfeited)
14(t) 32 - Thorndale, 1994-95
14(t) 32 - Stephenville, 1993-94

Sweetwater put an end to Abilene Highs win streak 51 years ago. I guess its about time for the Mustangs to break some undefeated hearts once again. :D
