Big win for Rockdale. A win over Taylor puts the Tigers in the playoffs for the second year in a row. The Tigers have had several injuries this season and continue to improve.

The district is still clouded up a bit with Navasota in the playoffs, and Cameron and Caldwell still battling for a spot. Depending on who wins the last 2 weeks will determine the playoff order.

Could finish several ways but it is almost certain that Navasota is the big school rep.

He is doing fine but is in a sling for 5 more weeks and then about 6 more weeks of rehab. The Optho Surgeon told us that he won't release him for 4 months so he will miss most of basketball along with the rest of football.

If there is a good thing from this injury, the ortho surgeon told us that if he rehabs well that the shoulder will be stronger and tighter than before.

He had the surgery last Friday night and is going through physical therapy daily to keep movement and strength in the rest of the arm.

He is just glad that he can go with his team mates next friday night for the Taylor game.

Thanks for asking and stay in touch.
