Bellville is 3-0 and is a lock to get in. If Giddings wins out or goes 1 and 1 they should be in. The other four somehow are all still in the hunt. Sealy is 2-1 but must beat Bellville or La Grange to secure a spot. Columbus is 1-2 and can get in if they beat La Grange and Bellville and Sealy loses last two games. Smithville is 1-2 and can get in if they beat Giddings and Bellville and Sealy loses out and Columbus loses out. Even La Grange who is 0-3 can get in if they beat Columbus and Sealy and they need Giddings and Bellville to win out forcing a three way tie with Columbus, Sealy and La Grange. Wow. i wonder how many district have all teams in the hunt with 2 games left???

What is funny about district 23-3A is that all the teams have gone undefeated so far without really having to do much at all.

I think you mean D25. 23 is an open district. All the teams in D20 have a better shot at making the playoffs with 4 teams tied for 3rd with a 1-2 record.

Columbus just lost to Bellville and their remaining 2 games are with LG & Giddings.

LG would finish in 3rd (2 way tie with Sealy at 2-3) if they win out and both Bellville & Giddings win out. Columbus would be 1-4 and not in a 3 way tie. LG would own the tie-breaker because of their victory over Sealy (assuming they win out).

There is also a scenario with 5 teams tied for second at 2-3. LG & Bellville would have to win out and Giddings & Sealy would lose out. Very unlikely, but still a possibility. What a nightmare to determine the remaining 2 playoff teams out of the 5 candidates.

Somebody posted that Bellville is already in, but there is a scenario with them and 3 other teams tied with a 3-2 record. Not sure what would determine the top 3 making the playoffs, but one team would be left out.
