Enrollment Day #s

Since today was the day for enrollment #s for the next realignment to go in, if you know the #s reported by any 3A school, please post them here. There are alot of teams on the bubble this year, some to move up, and some to move down. The realignment won't happen til Feb., but the #s should give us a good idea where everyone stands. eek!

Well, I just got off the phone with my cousin, who happens to be the direct seceretary to the superintendent at Port Isabel :p , and she said Port Isabel reported 655 students.....so Port Isabel stays 3A at next realignment. WOO HOO!!!!

i dont know where THIS came from. i said MOST LIKELY guesses & rumors ... and yes its true 655 will more than likely be 3A but until its announced .........................

in fact (shock!), I heard a number that Forney reported - 937 - could that & Burnet's 946 be low enuf to keep them 3A? guess we'll find out in February.

These are the schools that will be concerned with the next realignment with their respective enrollments THIS year:

1. ELGIN 897.00
2. EVERMAN 896.00
3. FORT WORTH CARTER-RIVERSIDE 892.00
4. BORGER 888.00
5. CARTHAGE 878.00
6. JASPER 876.00
7. CANYON 874.50
8. DIAMOND HILL-JARVIS 873.00
9. NORTH LAMAR 867.00
10. BURNET 858.00
11. NAVASOTA 856.00
12. LAKE DALLAS 853.00
13. TYLER CHAPEL HILL 850.00

Cut off for 3A was 899 this year, 844 last year, and 779 the yr before. Based on this I would say any team with enrollments of 940 should be 3A...940-950 on the bubble and 950 or higher start preparing for 4A. Hopefully the Burnet enrollment number is truly under 950.
