Before you say that Coach Rogers is one of the top coaches he needs to do a better job in close games. In all his years in Snyder he has never developed a passing game that will get you through the close games.

Not saying he's a bad coach!!!!!! Saying he has made some pretty bone-head calls the last two games. Not saying that some ones else wouldn't have. It just seams like when you have a QB who can throw the ball, it would be easier to keep the D off balance!!!!!!

ok we haven't had a passing game...LH doesn't have a passing game and they are working towards a three-peat, so your logic is flawed there, and how far have me got in the playoffs with Coach Rogers? to the semifinals(TWICE)....how many times have we reached the semifinals before Coach Rogers? ZERO...They never even got thru the 2nd or 3rd round before Coach Rogers, if my memory serves correctly

I stand corrected. To my knowledge we are not LH. We DO have a QB who can throw and it would keep the D off balance. Keep running the ball with #10 on the sidelines. It doesn't make since. I understand about his winning %age and I commend him & his coaches for that. When you're down 7 it is easier to KEEP THE D off balance if you don't wait until there are 4 min. left in the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is the last thing ill say on this thread about snyder...but i can't say anything about tonight as I was not there but don't go saying we need a new coach when we don't...you win some, you lose some; hopefully you win more than you lose but it doesn't always go the way you would like it to...and under Coach Rogers we have won a lot more than we have lost so stick it out he will get the team a great gameplan to win every week

Congrats to the Steers! Played one heck of a game and did what they had to do.....out-offense us and take advantage of our numerous mistakes. I was very impressed with those boys. McCoy had a heck of a game and that #33 at RB is a freakin stud! I know there were several others that did a great job, but those 2 were the ones that stood out to me. Can't believe they were only a 1-win team :eek: . Had a fella from Graham sitting in front of me and he said that was the best the Steers have played this year, in his opinion. I wouldn't doubt it.

Once again, the story of 2 halfs :( . We got lots of work to still do....I ain't gonna sugar coat anything. When you put 41 points on the board by halftime, that should be enuff to win a damn football game. On the defensive side we have got to figure out what the problem really is and get it fixed......yesterday! I am not bashing anybody here, especially those boys out there. They are working their asses off and giving it all they have, but there are issues that have got to be dealt with & problems that have got to be solved. I'm sure the coaches have already started preparing for next week and solving these issues. Just hopefully it won't be too little too late.

Getting totally shut out the 2nd half shocked the hell outta me :eek: . Again....credit to the Steers. They definately came ready to play, but we absolutely killed ourselves out there last night. The Brownwood Lions played 2 teams last night....the Graham Steers & the Brownwood Lions. I could go on & on but my head is still kinda :vrycnfsd:

I'm sure it's gonna be a tough one for our kids to swallow but I know they will shake it off and start working their tails off to get ready for the Mustangs next week. Gonna be a huge game.

I am just still totally dumbfounded over that game last night :confused: :doh: . So, anyways.....I'm really hungry this morning and am ready to be fed whatever kinda crow yawl got. Hey, a little lemmon pepper would be appreciated.

Believe me we know! We have not been able to beat them at their house the last couple of times we played them. I;m just glad we have the home field advantage this year. It will be a close game. No kidding!!! Both have got to win out the next two games. One certainly will not. If Graham wins out they'll probobly be in. Wylie and Sweetwater are in the drivers seats, but both need to win at least one of the two remaining games to be a lock. I knew this district was going to get wild by this point in the season though. Sure enough, its crazy as hell right now. You know.....this is not the way I saw things playing out at this point of the season. I seriously thought we would be in a much better position. But this district has proven just what was said before the season even started....toughest 3A district in the state!
