Whats going on up there 75? GV has always had good speed and some pretty good size.

They won state in 2003 and were state runner-up in 2005. 2006 and 2007 they went 1-9! 2008 heading for 2-8. It seems like most of the size, tallent and speed has left Gainesville for now.

Hopefully it will come around for GV in the future. Good luck!

any more word on the score?

i guess the most important thing at this point is, are the bobcats regaining their confidence back?

It's going to get worse for Gainesville, I'm afraid. I talked to their coaches at halftime, and I asked them if they were young. They said they had 25 players on varsity and they graduate 20 of them. In addition, they had 18 kids come out for freshman football. Eleven of those 18 failed a class.

What a bad, bad situation. Former Bobcat Randall Cherry is a coach over there now.

I don't think the confidence will really come back until they beat a good team, and Gainesville is not a good team, no disrespect intended.

We have Whitesboro next week, which I believe is better than Gville, but shouldn't be much of a test. Then finish with Argyle, which will be a good test. A good solid win against a good Argyle team could restore the confidence as we head into the playoffs. That's what I am hoping anyway.
