Dawgs called off the Dogs. Could have beaten the Apaches by 50=60 points if the coach had the mind to. It was 31 to zip early in the third quarter. I cannot fathom what is going on with Gonzales. Meredith didn't play last night, I never heard anything from Ckody Burton, last year's all state receiver, and the Apaches laid the ball on the ground 6 times. That makes 18 fumbles in the last two weeks. That is probably 20 percent of the plays they have run. I don't think I have ever seen a Gonzales team that appears to have simply rolled it up and called it quits.

Last year Gonzales had an infusion of energy and hope when a lot of the basketball players, who were great athletes, decided to play football. Those guys really brought their swagger with them off the court and to the field. The just don't seem motivated this year.
