This was in the same edition as the article I posted yesterday.
It isn't on the on-line edition though.

There was no one listed as the writer. I can only assume it was
Ron Howell. He is our sports editor.

Jackson vs. Rodgers
"Friday's game will mark the sixth time that Sweetwater's Kent
Jackson and Snyder's Chad Rodgers have coached against
each other at their respective schools. Jackson has a 3-2 edge
as Sweetwater won regular season meetings in 2003, 2004, and
2005, while Snyder won in 2002 and also in the 2004 state
quarterfinals matchup.
Jackson and Rodgers each began their respective jobs in 2001.
Jackson has a record of 74-24 at Sweetwater including 15-7 in
the playoffs, with seven consecutive appearances and a trip to
the semifinals in 2005. Sweetwater has advanced to at least
the area round all seven years.
Rogers has a record of 67-28 at Snyder including 12-6 in the
playoffs, with six straight appearances and two trips to the
semifinals in 2004 and 2007."
