2 ho-hum games, 1 great game, big crowds, but cold ...
was surprised highland park didn't show up, i thought this first game of the day might be the best of the day - not ... 17K crowd announced ... ryan looked 100% better than they did last week vs. aledo - ryan v. lamargue should be super, may be worth the trip to SA
southlake carroll is a machine, sooo impressive ... dont think allen was ever really in this one ... 22K announced crowd ... give carroll the state title
gainesville over burnet? i didnt think they could do it but once again i'm proven wrong ... nice crowd of 16K, great support from both sides ... to me the difference was gainesville's speed on defense, heck, their overall speed. except for shiply burnet was a step behind all night. ... in the 2nd half burnet had the same problem forney had - they couldn't pass protect. even the best HS QB's need time to throw ... but a great game, congrate gainesville, bummer for burnet
