Yes, I think 9 is a little high for the Lady Eagles considering all everything Choicetta McMillian is gone. I expect the team to struggle a little early on, but I bet they have a really good shot of winning district.

Wonder how good our Lady Rattlers are going to be this year? They graduated some real talent, but they should still keep the district streak alive.

Wylie #7 is a surprise. We usually aren't ranked early. Our best player will be a Freshman.

Velt's girls are going to be really good again. I can see them making it out of the region. They have some tough competition, but they can do it.

Diboll returns the starting 5 from last season, including 6'5 Nikki Green who just gave a verbal to Penn State. She has been hooping it up with the best in the state during the summer, playing for DFW Elite.

They also return a former starter from the regional final team of a couple years back. She had to sit out last season due to personal issues.

Should compete well in Region III.

Maybe Britney Griner can give her some tips

Diboll should be one of the favorites to win Region III. They're not just a one woMAN team with Nikki Green. The PG impressed me a lot last year.
