I have BOTH Nevada Community and Robstown as likely playoff qualifiers this year in my recently posted projections. Palacios and Lumberton were both in the top 10 on the equivalent list last year when they qualified.

How is Whitesboro doing this year? Do they have a shot?

Not with the likes of Prosper, Argyle and Celina in their district

You can go ahead and tack on another year for Diamond Hill-Jarvis, North Dallas and North Side. Numbers 3-5 are assured of another year without a trip to the playoffs.

Robstown might have a chance if I'm not mistaken.

At 2-0 in district and 4-3 overall, I believe you can almost scratch Nevada Community off that list! But don't expect them to make it too much farther than that.:(

Robstown and Tuloso Midway have a chance, but I think Robstown might come up short and Sinton,Ingleside and West Oso get in. If Robstown beats Mathis then they could get in if Sinton beats West Oso and Ingleside.

I think both Robe and T-M will get in

I'm thinking Robstown has the edge if it comes down to any sort of tiebreaker given that they beat West Oso by 15 and Ingleside lost to West Oso by 7

That puts Robstown at +15
Ingleside at -7
West Oso at -8

Robstown has Mathis, Falfurrias and Ingleside left on their schedule. From my calculations they need to win two of the three to qualify. Falf is pretty much a gimme and I have Robstown over Mathis this week... that means they could lose to Ingleside and still qualify.

I started to say TM had no chance but I remember 4 teams make it now. Alice, FB and Cal should be the first 3.

Given their win over West Oso and Ingleside's loss to West Oso why is it not a possibility that they would beat BOTH Mathis and Ingleside??

It very well may be since Texas was one of the first states to have a centrally organized high school football playoff system in the entire nation
