Do you think Texas really this good this year? I know only time will tell, but loosing DJ Augustine will really hurt.

I hope SFA wins the SLC this year since we have a kid from Madison, Jason Rogers, who plays for them. His older brother Jerome, who is usually at our football games each week, played for North Texas.

losing Augustine will hurt them at first but they seem to always fine a way to win with what they have...i think they will drop at first but then will end up in the mix for the big 12 title...UT, OU, Baylor, and Kansas will prolly fight it out for the title...i think UT, OU, and Baylor are better than KU but they get to play in the north so that gives them a nice advantage while the south schools beat up on each other...

22?!?!?! Interesting. We've been ranked in the top 10 by 7 different publications. And UT 6?!?!? Augustin made them go. They will struggle early until they figure out how to replace him.

Not directly, but the South teams all play each other twice and only play the North teams once for a total of 16 conference games.

I'm guessing A&M's not ranked because of who we are losing. Anybody else have and idea why? I thought we did fairly well last season.

like cshscougars said, there is no north/south directly but KU only has to play the south schools once while all the south schools play each other twice....the south like in football is by far the tougher division...
