if needville cant stop wharton they wont stop sweeny! speed kills and needville is too slow!

Sweeny has not had this kind of talent in the backfield in several years... (not to knock any previous players, but these 2 kids ((#3 & #30)) can flat GO)

Good Luck to both teams as they have both beaten the Roughnecks, but seeing both in action, Sweeny is 4 TD's better.

l have to say sweeny has the edge here. needville will have a hard time containing BOTH sweeny backs. columbia did a good job, but sweeny had some big plays passing. i don't think needville will be able to slow down the dogs running game like columbia did. if sweeny plays any defense, it could be a long night for the jays. dogs by 14

After having watched us lose to both teams, Sweeny is WAY more talented than Needville.


The Jays are SLOW and Sweeny is MUCH faster. Sweeny will break several long run plays and your pass D had better be ready for Hornback's arm too.


I like Sweeny by 3 Td's.

Sweeny has fallen off a bit, possibly with lower enrollment numbers recently as well.


But Sweeny is pretty good. I think it's a testament to our players that a Sweeny fan says we have the most talent in the district.... but yet we still lost. Was a great ball game Friday night though.

They will likely go 4a soon. If not in 2 years, then in 4.

needville will not be 4a anytime soon, there numbers have been dropping, as for move-ins all they ever get is IBM's and if you know what an IBM is you know that they don't help you on the football field, you might get a good kicker every once in a while out of an IBM

also they are not getting any richmond/rosenberg suburbia, they are getting nuevo laredo /acuna mexico suburbia move-ins, ought to have heck of a soccer team in a few years, their battle cry will be amor needville por vida

I thought their enrollment numbers would skyrocket in the near future. With all the new businesses and houses on the north side of town, I figured more suburbia folks would be headed that way soon. I guess you would know more about it that me though. :confused:
