On our second offensive play our soph. RB Darian Scott scampered for a 99 yard TD run, tying the state record.

We went on to beat Brownsboro 31-26 in a thriller that went down to the wire, but my heart goes out to the Brownsboro community. Earlier this week they had two brothers, one on JV and one on the fresh. team, die in a car wreck. It puts things in perspective, even state records.

congrats on the win, eagles. fairfield was a close second to the region III team of the week choice, to be announced shortly. I was going with fairfield first, but after reading the recap, I saw that the defense gave up over 500 yards. fairfield has made some strides, and the defense needs to catch up if they are to make the postseason. good luck the rest of the way.

He looked pretty good. Most of the night he would throw a jump ball or a screen pass. Each worked well but the screen ate us alive. I was impressed with the Bears offense. I think they will sneak up on some teams that take them lightly. They can score.
