La Grange-0
Smithville-38

Smithville defense dominated LG's offense, La Grange offense picked up where it left off last week. Not clicking. Smithville defense was flying all over the field also notice a # of the players are very young. Congrats to the Tigers and lookout for them next year also, LG is also young so District will be just as tough next year.

they still have a chance, we are officaly in week 8 nxt fri and the smithville tigers are 5-2(1-1) in district and are in october and still have a thing to say about the disrtrict race, been over 10 years since we could say that, hope they can continue the momentum after this statement game and take there chance and run with it

ps. dont know how lg feels about the match up but know are boys get up for this game more than any other, its our oklahoma to texas, great to see the tigers pull out the w, and the last time smithville beat lg was in 1998, an also the same year smithville was last in the playoffs

I don't care who you are, you didn't see this coming, and you're lying if you say you did. (even if you are from smithville)

I was watching FSN and saw this score. I said, " that can't be right." I see that it is...

WOW, Congrats to Smithville.

I hate that giddings has to play LG after a game like this. The giddings/lg game is crazy enough every year no matter the levels of talent, much less after a tough loss like this by lg.

Congratulations to Smithville, you have proven again you are a fordce to be recognized in that district. I hope that people don't under estimate LG though. They can still be effective and beat you when the offense is clicking. Can anybody tell me if they really used only one QB or did they continue the platoon system that has been pretty good this year?

Wow was a little shocked by this score but Smithville was pretty solid when Yoakum played them. I guess Yoakum is not as bad as what everyone thought. Not for sure what happened in this one. Just goes to show you that on any given night whoever shows up to play and wins the turnover battler has a really good chance of winning the game.

Giddings better worry about Smithville.
