I like the pot of beans and jalapeno cornbread idea...not quite cold enough yet for the big, steaming bowl of chili though...needs to be in the 30's or 40's for that. Now, THAT'S some football weather!

My mom used to tell me about a game between West-McGregor back in the 70's when they were 2A. Started out at around 32 degrees with sleet falling, then turned into a hard snow before halftime. That's what I'm talking about.

I love this weather right now. I had my soccer team out practicing this afternoon and they were huffin and puffin for the entire practice. :D
