WOW!!! Sounds like a tie for second provided the rest of the second half goes the same way the first half went.

After a convincing victory in Game 1, Sweetwater looked ready to assume sole possession of first place in Tuesday's District 2-3A volleyball showdown with Brownwood at Mustang Gym. But it was the Lady Lions, not the Lady Mustangs, who took over the outright lead as they rallied to win the match by scores of 21-25, 25-17, 25-22, 25-14.

There's more to the story here...

That first game of the set lost by Brownwood is the only game (or set, not sure what they are called) they have lost in district play. Lady Lions are looking good so far.

If you were to go back to the spring and look up some of my old post, I once posted that Brownwood moving to 3A would help us more in other sports than it will in football. So far, that is looking like the case. We will see as softball and baseball comes along if it holds true.

AP is no push over, from what I hear. Good win. Now I can't wait to read the write up in that newspaper they have over there.

they did look good at times, but simply made to many mistakes... Our girls lost to them in 5 at home... hopefully they will be upset in the next few games and our girls can keep winning....
