It was fun. The magic number is now 2 matches. If they can take two of four remaining among Prosper, Whitesboro, Sanger or Gainesville it should ensure the first trip to the playoffs.

This team has really improved. They are mostly Freshman and Sophomores and should do nothing but get better. The Senior setter is awesome and will be hard to replace.

Good win last night! Nice to see them take control of the match, finishing games, while Argyle tried to make late runs. Tied for 2nd now. Anybody know the district tiebreaker?

To resolve a two-way district tie, the district executive committee may authorize a single elimination match, provided only one other match is played that calendar week. This match may NOT be played as an exception to the school week limitation since it is not considered post-district competition. If either school played a match on Tuesday, the district tiebreaker match could not be played until Friday after school or Saturday.

For those that follow Vball take a look at the stats on HS Gametime for the area.

The interesting thing is that Duncanville leads the stat board with an average of 27.32 points per game ( 21.76 kills, 2.03 blocks and 4.53 aces) looking at their posted leaders. This is truely amazing considering that a game is only to 25.


Maybe statistics is really a college level course at not taught in Duncanville.
