I love the MLB playoffs. It's part of why this is my favorite time of the year.

The series went into jeopardy when Francona pulled Timilin's string in the 11th last game.

I would enjoy seeing that too after how Boston's management group tried to paint Manny as being responsible for everything short of starting another World War.

As much as I'd enjoy seeing Manny single-handedly destroy his old team, I'd much rather see the Rays go ahead and win the ALCS! Great job today Rays!

The Rays are a team that I really have come to watch play and enjoy. They were a door mat in the MLB for years and have drafted very well and now it is paying off for them. Longoria is a beast and they have a great bullpen which is in my opinion the reason they have been winning.

Not to hijack a thread, but please feel free to take up for Manny and cheer him on. We Boston fans do not miss him... not one bit.

His antics were fine when he had the drive to win. And Francona and co. overlooked it... (albeit sheepishly). Funny though, this year he didn't have that same drive in Boston.

Always love the player that wins a ring with a team, then sandbags on them less than a year later... :rolleyes:

Please, keep cheering for Manny and his "newfound" enthusiasm. Win or lose, we are enjoying Jason Bay just fine.

And on a sadder note... ALCS looking pretty grim for the SOX. Just too many guys hurt to compete with a Rays team that I think is playing better ball... even if we were 100% healthy.
