Something you can do to pass the little time available to have a lil fun. We gave sum nicknames for some of our kids for a Nutcracker drill list. The names have been changed to protect the innocent....

"I want my momma Jones"

Sancho I raise the flag at Pancho's.

Hertz II, This time its personal.

Dinty More...

Son of Sam "Simon"

That's all I can think of right now.

What can you come up with?

they had Nitro Nietto also. They scored 3 TD's on LH in 4 Plays. We made the adjustment and ended up losing in the final ticks of the game. We lost Kociuba in that one early in the 1st half.

Crap...that's right, I had forgotten about Nieto. Wonder if he's any relation to the Neitos in and around Edna, as Miguel Nieto is a good friend of mine.

Our high school backup QB was nicknamed "Chalk Line" he was so uncoordinated that we accused him of tripping on the fields yard markers...

That 2003 Port Isabel team had Johnny "Nitro" Nieto, and Misael "Missile" Iracheta. It was Iracheta that busted the long TD run on the 1st play from scrimmage and also had a long TD catch that was caught short and he busted it I think it was 65 yards.

Nieto also busted a 50ish yarder later on in the game and even the QB Gabriel Alvarez (no nickname) broke a long TD run on an option keeper.

This year, we have "Paco" Vega. He's a Junior and the only bright spot on the team this year thus far.
