They don't play until Saturday night, but I'm pretty confident the Javelinas will take them. It's homecoming at A&I this weekend!:)

I think he's talking about the 0-5 high school team.

Commerce is losing enrollment and will probably be 2A the next time around. They just don't have the talent base they used to have.

I still think they can make the playoffs in that district if they can beat VA. That may be the second-weakest 3A district in the state next to the district Farmersville should win by showing up.

There program is really down right now the number of students going out for football is at an all time low. Their starting QB had his leg broken in their game against Gunter and they are starting a Freshman. I understand they have some talent in the underclassmen but no depth. Last year they had maybe 25 kids on varsity!

They have not been the same since Lineweaver left. It has been in a slow decline since.

Wow! that really surprises me. I remember Commerece from all the State showdowns with Sealy.

i was wondering the the same thing....commerce year in year out had some really good teams and athletes.
