All I can tell you is the Cowboys better be hitting on all cylinders in this one. If they play sluggish, they are in for a long day. I'm giving my Cowboys the benefit of the doubt and will say:

Dallas 37
Arizona 31

he has put up good fantasy numbers this year - not so much on touchdowns, but on return yards - the game brett favre had 6 touchdowns vs arizona, he (breaston) had a ton of return yards....

Dallas = 56
Arizona = 45

Both Warner + Romo combine for 8 INT's and 6 fumbles.

Cowboys 34
Cardinals 20

Cowboys will bounce back with a solid victory over Arizona. The secondary will be challenged on Sunday. They will be without Safety Pat Watkins so Kieth Davis will get the start.

the cowboys are gonna be in for a long day, the cardinal receivers will toy with their secondary.

the offense needs to put up at least 35 to stay in the game

As strange as it sounds, I like the Cowboys better since this is on the road. The Cowboys appear over the last year or so to be more focused on the road than at home.

He blew the whistle WAY EARLY on that play. The competition committee needs to get together in the off-season and come up with a rule change. They can call it the "Hochuli Rule".

Wish Romo would throw a fit, chew somebody out, or at least show shome emotion---it may not make him feel better, but it would me. Maybe the "spark" wouldl make the rest of the Cowboys catch fire. They look a little "flat" to me right now. Lots of game left though.

Fitzgerald appears to have made up for it by catching another one though.

the real question is how long will it take g$$ to make an appearance

That's what I was thinking. I saw one called today that was a LOT less obvious than that!

If you block the kick you can do whatever you want to the poor old kicker.

It's like that on every level of play, geez people learn the rules before you cry.

Well assuming he doesn't spend the next 24 hours laughing hysterically about the prospect of TO going ape on his team, I'm sure ol' Napoleon will make an appearance tonight to remind everyone how petty he can be.

It looked more like he blocked the kicker instead of the ball.

Whoever is making the decision to only give Felix Jones 3 carries. I know he was hurt today, but even in past games. He needs to be touching the ball AT LEAST 10 times a game rushing.

I'm still a lifelong Cowboys fan, but I honestly don't see Super Bowl contender in this team yet. The Dallas "O" line is huge, but can't handle multiple speed rushers. Looks like a lot of teams are finding that out. The Giants did it to em' in the playoffs last year and Phoenix did it to them today. Romo can't get the ball to T.O. and Witten if he doesn't have the time to let them clear in their patterns. Great job by the Phoenix "D" today.

He still got the ball.

and if the kicker still has it in his hand, who is to say he wasn't going to fake it or something? He isn't a kicker until he kicks the ball

I concur. If you are absolutely and completely clueless about the rules don't open your mouth.

On second thought it's actually pretty comical when someone opens their mouth and complains and doesn't have a clue about the rule!

I never got why T.O. is even sent on long patterns, get him the ball quickly and let him outrun players. He is bigger and stronger, and almost faster than any corner in the league.

The rules state if the kicker is making an attempt to kick the ball you cant touch him.
Look it up for yourself.

FLAT, PLAIN, AND SIMPLE.

Because they DIDN'T BLOCK THE KICK

They ran into the kicker well after the ball was away

ITS a BLOCK PUNT what i seen on replays, He block the ball first then clobber the kickers leg thats how you block a kick!! Lets move on Cowboys still 4-2 and if they win the next two they will be 6-2 at the break and thats a good start.

Just a few weeks ago the NFL was considering doing away with the extra point try after a kicker got hurt.
Whats the difference now?

There is no longer a five yard face mask penalty in the NFL and I think its a good thing. If you touch the face mask its 15 yards.
But its ok to block the ball and clobber the kicker while he is in a vulnerable position.
You cant hit the qb after he passes the ball, but its ok to clobber the kicker.
I understand that football is a contact sport and is not a game for nice people. I fully support that, but come on that was a cheap shot. I know I wouldnt want to wiped out while kicking the ball.
I say if you touch the kicker its a penalty. Bottom line.

I understand your point, but, what happened was within the current rules, therefore no penalty. Contact the Commish or the Rules Committee if you think the rule needs to be changed.

Well, even though I happen to agree with you, WE can't change the rules from here. Just suggesting what can be done.
