Intoxicated man arrested after found sleeping in convenience store

An intoxicated Oklahoma man was arrested early Thursday after police found him sleeping in a convenience store.
Officer James Payne filed a report stating that he was dispatched to the 190 Fuel Stop at 850 East Gibson Street when employees there reported the man was unconscious at a table in the eating area.
Police said they determined the 28 year old man was intoxicated, and he was subsequently arrested and transported to the Jasper City Jail where he is expected to be arraigned by Municipal Judge Robert Jackson on Thursday afternoon.
Ironically, the man had reportedly been attending Team Challenge, a substance abuse rehabilitaion facility on Highway 190 East in Jasper.
