Harris poll Vs. Massey poll

Which poll do you put more stock in at this time of year. ther seams to be a huge differance between the 2 at thisw time.

After looking at the Harris poll, I tend to lean toward the Massey. I believe it's a bit more believable, but once again it's just a poll that really doesn't mean anything.

At this point I'd go with the Massey Poll. The Harris Poll isn't giving China Spring enough credit, IMO.

Often people say "Polls don't mean anything". I have to dispute this when it comes to high school football in Texas. After week 5, polls do give a fair picture of where teams rank based on head to head matchups and score differentials. Sure, there are upsets every week, teams that have "off " nights etc. but take a look at the Harris Poll and Massey ratings (and others) after the games are played on Friday Nights and the game results are usually close to the predictions. I am amazed sometimes how accurate they have become.
