Last Friday as I was entering the Plano/Wylie game some people behind me commented they had never seen a 5A game before.

Have you seen a game in every class?

I have not seen a 1A vs 1A.

Though I have seen a 1A vs 2A.

The only one I haven't seen is 6-man. Leverett's Chapel is the only 6-man team in East Texas that I'm aware of, and they just started playing 6-man a couple of years ago.

I have seen a game in every class. The 6-man game came in the 7th grade when Lampasas was host to a playoff game between Harper and a team that I can't remember at the moment. It was fun to watch.

I went to a Class A quarterfinal game a few years ago. I'll NEVER, EVER go to a 1A game ever again. It was like watching a junior high football game. It was boring beyond belief and I left in the third quarter.

I've never seen 6-man, but i might have to make the Mullin-Zephyr game this year, if it already hasn't been played.

Seen them all. And I have to say that those of you that haven't been to see a good 6 man game are missing out. If you haven't been to one you need to catch a game when the playoffs roll around.:)

Same here - Mr44 has been saying for years that he wants to go to a 6 man game sometime. Maybe we'll do that ;)

GO EVERMAN BULLDOGS! :inlove:

Never been to a Six Man game. Maybe with Prairie lea revising it's football program might try to make one.

Went to the wrong game then. 1A can be just as fun as other classifications, you just have to have more football knowledge to understand the difficulties of 1A football.

while I agree 1A football can be as fun to watch just because someone does not like it does not mean they have less football knowledge

I have seen every classification play. Strange thing is, I prefer 2A and 6 man over the others. :crazy1: Not that there is anything wrong with the others.:D

My dad coached at most of the levels, including B. :D

I will say that I have not watched 5A "live" but have seen a couple of games either on TV or the web (HP vs Marshall? I think - that got UGLY fast).

5A SLC vs. Miami Northwestern
SLC vs. Abilene- When McElroy was QB
3A- Numerous games
2A- West vs. numerous teams, back when we were 2A (does that count?)
1A- Axtell vs. Hubbard
6man- Aquilla vs. Covington

West usually plays TAPPS/Private School Reicher, although they weren't scheduled this year. They usually play alot of the local schools on their non-district schedule, 1A through 3A.

I've watched a game in every class too. I went to the Milford 6-man extravaganza years ago in Ellis County. It was unbelievably exiting and competitive. The athletes showed up with hay in their hair and worked as hard on the field as they did on the farm.

They have a 6 man classic every year now in Hico that seems to be getting popular. Teams are coming from far away to play in that one. It's called the Hico Six-Man Super Saturday usually played around Week 0. This years lineup was Ira vs. Throckmorton, Strawn vs. Follett, Gordon vs. Valley, Iredell vs. Jonesboro and Abbott vs. Garden City. They also had appearances by ex-Dallas Cowboys Walt Garrison and Burton Lawless, World Champion all around cowboy Cody Ohl and the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders.
