Have just five games left to go in order to have an undefeated regular season! It does appear that their road to a state title will be much harder since they are likely to go D2, but that's okay. Instead of having to win 14 games, they'll just have to make it 15!

Don't blame us! We just like talking about the undefeated Pirates! I believe y'all are the only team in 3A with a Pirate for a mascot that does not have a loss!

Caller.com 3A H.S. football poll: Week 5
Sinton remains undefeated, hunted

staff reports
Sunday, October 5, 2008

Local H.S. football poll for Class 3A (thru week 5):

1. SINTON (4-0)

Pirates learning to be the hunted, holding off winless Aransas Pass

2. INGLESIDE (3-2)

Offense has arrived, QB Brian Hull impressive in 22-point win over Mathis; look for shootout with West Oso this week

3. ROBSTOWN (2-3)

Cottonpickers appear to like the move to 3A, beating two favorites, West Oso and Orange Grove, to open district season

4. MATHIS (3-2)

After opening with three wins, Pirates have lost 2 straight

5. WEST OSO (2-3)

Put an end to 3-game losing streak; need to have great road run in the next two weeks at Ingleside and Mathis
