DCTF has Crockett as the favorite to win district. They're scoring less than 2 TD's a game but their schedule looks to be the most difficult, losing to undefeated Corrigen-Camden and Kirbyville as well as La Vega. Despite that, they still are giving up less points than anybody. Brownsboro is averaging a ridiculous 44.2 points per game. Their pre-district schedule seems to be the weakest of the 6 teams, but in any case that is an absurd average. Palestine is giving up almost as much as the Bears are scoring, yielding 42.4 points per game. Fairfield doesn't seem to be a doormat like it has been the last couple of years. Except their first game against China Spring, each game they have had a chance to win. Westwood and Athens look to have legitimate chances of making the playoffs. All in all, I think Crockett still has a decent chance of winning it if they can ever get their offense clicking, but it's going to a toss up to see who gets those 3 coveted spots.
